Woman Dies After Being Struck By School Bus In Bergen County
A 31-year-old Bergen County woman was fatally struck by a school bus.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — A woman has died after she got hit by a school bus Tuesday morning in Hackensack, officials said.
Tima J. Asp, 31, of Lodi was struck by the bus around 8:30 a.m. while she was crossing at the intersection of South Summit Avenue and West Pleasantview Avenue in Hackensack, prosecutors said.
Asp was taken to the hospital in critical condition, and died Wednesday, prosecutors said.

The driver of the bus, operated by J&W Financial LLC, remained at the scene and has cooperated with the investigation, prosecutors said.
Investigators from the Hackensack Police Department and Bergen County Prosecutor's Office determined that the bus driver was turning left and hit Asp, prosecutors said.

"There is no indication that the accident involved any criminality, and criminal charges are not expected to be filed," prosecutors said.
The investigation is continuing.
