$45K Donated To Help Find Missing Bergen County Talent Agent

ORADELL, NJ — The family and friends of a missing borough man missing for 10 days have come together to raise money and expand the search for him.

Talent agent Mark Schlegel, 57, was last seen leaving his Oradell home at 3:30 p.m. Aug. 13, Oradell Police said. He was headed for a road just three blocks away. He left his phone, keys and wallet at home, authorities said. He was wearing a white collared shirt, light-colored shorts and boat shoes.

A Go Fund Me page has been established to raise $25,000 to continue searching for Schlegel and reward anyone who finds him. More than $45,000 has been donated since the fund was established Tuesday.

Schlegel's family has established a "network of areas" that volunteers are searching, Rosalle Joseph and Stephanie Klapper, Schlegel's friends, said in a Facebook post.

Authorities have searched the woods and other locations near his home.

Schlegel does not have any known physical or mental health issues.

Schlegel is 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weighs 165 pounds and has gray hair and blue eyes.
