Bergen Catholic Students Install Wi-Fi Network At Newark School

School will also donate televisions and laptops to the school.

ORADELL, NJ - Students at Bergen Catholic High School helped install Internet access and a Wi-Fi network at St. Francis Xavier Grammar School in Newark recently.

The school had limited Internet access prior to the project.

Members of the Bergen Catholic technology department and students Emilio Montes de Oca, Matthew Selvaggi, and Francis Milone installed the wireless network.

Technology Department leaders Christopher Hall and Al Spiegel headed up the project.

Bergen Catholic students will return to the school monthly to ensure the network is properly maintained.

In addition to the network, Bergen Catholic will also donate 32-inch Sony televisions and laptops to the school.

The service project and donations are a part of Bergen Catholic’s 60th Jubilee Year celebration.
