“Throughout the years, I tried to maintain a strong work ethic even when I was busy with sports and clubs,” Madison shared. “I would study and complete all my homework for my classes each night after practice.”
Molly Smith added “I made a point of working very hard during the week and I had a lot of late nights, but I also tried my best to relax more on the weekends than I could on school nights.”

Both students faced hours upon hours of work to get done but were helped along the way by their teachers, family and friends to get to this point.
“All of my teachers have been absolutely incredible and I was very fortunate to have them," Molly said. "I was especially lucky to have the continuity of two years of support from Mrs. Jacobus, who was wonderful, as well as that of Mr. O’Toole and Ms. Carney.”
Madison also shared that many of her teachers, such as, Mrs. Milch, Mrs. Carney, Coach Kiel, and Mrs. Jacobus had a huge contribution to her success.
Both Madison and Molly have yet to make any college decisions.
Molly said “I’m still undecided right now, but I’m looking forward to making my final decision in April.”
Madison stated “Right now I hope to major in Chemistry and plan to use that in a research setting for pharmaceutical development. I am not sure which school I would like to attend yet, as I have a few more to hear from in April.”
Overall, each student would like to say a special thanks to their parents, loved ones, teachers, and guidance counselors for all of their help and support.
Congratulations to Madison Smith and Molly Smith for a superior and exceptional honor.
