Robbinsville Superintendent Announces Resignation Just Weeks Before New School Year (tapinto.net) — Robbinsville residents are getting a sudden change at the top of their school district, as Superintendent Dr. Patrick Pizzo has resigned effective August 20, with Assistant Superintendent Kristy DeFazio stepping in as acting superintendent. His departure follows a difficult 2026–2027 budget process that cut about $2.4 million after an unsuccessful referendum and weeks of emotional testimony from local students, parents, and staff.
   

• From a Family Challenge to an AI Tool: Robbinsville Teen Shashank Madala Builds Kora to Help Caregivers Understand Autistic Children (indianewengland.com) — A Robbinsville High School rising senior, Shashank Madala, has turned a family experience with autism into Kora, an AI tool now used by hundreds of caregivers in therapy centers across 12 countries. The Robbinsville teen's project won the 2025 Congressional App Challenge for New Jersey's 10th District and has grown alongside his nonprofit Lumin AI and autism research work at Yale.
