• Mall arcade closed after being flooded by open food court faucet (news12.com) — An 80s-themed arcade at Rockaway Townsquare Mall is temporarily closed after an upstairs food court faucet was left running overnight, flooding the ceiling and damaging games. Management is working with insurance and electricians to repair the space, praising the mall's response, but no reopening date has been set yet for Rockaway families who frequent the arcade.
   

• Severe thunderstorms causing Newark Airport delays, power outages (northjersey.com) — Rockaway is under a National Weather Service flash flood warning as severe thunderstorms bring heavy rain, power outages, and travel disruptions across Morris County and much of New Jersey. Residents are urged to watch for rapidly rising water, check on power status, and confirm any flights through Newark Airport as delays and scattered outages continue Tuesday evening.
