• Roxbury Convenience Store Plan Got 4 Yes Votes, 2 No — But Was Still Denied (tapinto.net) — A closely watched proposal to convert the vacant garage at the Route 46 Sunoco in Roxbury into a convenience store was denied despite a 4–2 favorable vote, because a use variance needs five yes votes. The station’s operator is now suing the township, arguing the Zoning Board’s incomplete membership unfairly affected the outcome, leaving the prominent corner at Route 46 and Howard Boulevard in limbo.
