Discover New Jersey's rich folk art traditions, shaped by its history as the crossroads of the American Revolution and the homeland of the Lenni Lenape. Explore baskets, woodwork, decoys, ceramics, quilts, embroidery, and other handcrafted works while examining the artistry of Ammi Phillips, Micah Williams, and other self-taught artisans. Learn about the communities that nurtured these traditions and how they continued to influence New Jersey's cultural landscape into the 20th century.
