The public is warmly invited to the 22th annual "United We Sing-Music of Gratitude" celebration on Sunday, November 15 at 3PM at the Unitarian Universalist Meeting House, 1475 W. Front St., Lincroft. This intercultural service of music, word and dance presents voices of different faiths and cultures raised in joy and gratitude..
Sponsored by the Monmouth Center for World Religions and Ethical Thought (MCWRET) and the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Monmouth County, this event has its origins in the aftermath of September 11, 2001. In anguish and sorrow, we came together from our different cultural and faith traditions to proclaim and celebrate our rich diversity. The healing effect of the evening led us to repeat the event with presentations over the years from the Muslim, Jain, Christian, Baha'i, Hindu, Sikh, Jewish, Native American, Buddhist and UU communities.
Children are especially welcome to attend. Light refreshments will be provided after the program. The program is free of charge.
