Cars Broken Into In Fair Haven, Keansburg Man Charged
Police say a Keansburg man broke into cars in Fair Haven July 9-10. He tried to sell one of the stolen items in Asbury Park, cops said.

FAIR HAVEN, NJ — Three cars were broken into earlier this month in Fair Haven, and police say a Keansburg man is responsible. He was arrested after he tried to sell some of the stolen items in Asbury Park, Fair Haven police charge.
During the late night hours of July 9 - July 10, three vehicles in the area of Harding and Harvard roads were entered and various items were taken, including a purse and electronic items. Surveillance video was later obtained by Fair Haven police, who said it showed a man attempting to sell one of the stolen items at a business in Asbury Park.
With the assistance of other police agencies, the man was identified as Milo W. Rainey, 39, of Keansburg. Rainey was charged with three counts of burglary and two counts of theft. He is currently incarcerated in NJ State Prison CRAF located in Trenton. Detective Jeff Jarvis of the Fair Haven police made the arrest.
