Some of the recent operatic lead roles performed by Mr. Chiarelli were –Turridu in the opera Cavalleria Rusticana with Brooklyn Repretory Opera. With overwhelmingly positive reviews, Salvatore gave a repeated performance with The West Side Opera in Manhattan. Because of his success with Turridu Mr. Chiarelli was offered the role of Canio in the Capital Opera’s production of I Pagliacci treating the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania audience to – as a reviewer wrote- “ a truly splendid evening of Leoncavallo”
