Hundreds flock to the Rumson Country Day School Whale of a Sale

Eager shoppers began queuing at 7am to get into Rumson Country Day School's 'Whale of a Sale' on April 16th.

Rumson Country Day  School held its 42nd annual Whale of a Sale this weekend.  The sale is a testament to the school's commitment to the community as hundreds of people lined up outside the school from 7am on Saturday morning to be the first to access the bargains inside.

All the items for sale were donated by current school families and alumni. Murchandise included clothing, toys, general house hold items and furniture, all available at greatly reduced prices.

Any items left at the end of the weekend will be donated to over 15 local charities.  The money raised during the rummage sale will be put towards the RCDS Financial Aid Program which provides scolarships to students whose families need financial assistance.
