This beginner course will serve as the platform to any type of music production or music engineering work. Students will learn the basics to creating music on a computer, first gaining an understanding of basic music theory concepts. Students will then use computer software to take a hands-on approach and piece prerecorded music tracks and instruments to create songs. No prior music education is required for this class. Cost: $180. (Winter Session: 1/6 - 2/21; no classes week of 2/10)
