Lifeguard Jobs Available At Sandy Hook This Summer
The next test will be offered at Monmouth University at 2 p.m. this Sunday, May 13. You must register in advance to take it.

SANDY HOOK, NJ — The National Park Service seeks to fill multiple entry-level surf-lifeguard jobs at Sandy Hook for the 2018 summer season.
Hourly pay for these jobs is $14.59 per hour, with extra pay for Sunday work. Overtime pay is $21.89 per hour. These jobs are 40 hours per week. The first step for this exciting opportunity is a pre-employment performance test, which includes a 550-yard swim in less than ten minutes and a one-and-a-quarter mile run in less than twelve minutes.
The next test will be offered at Monmouth University at 2 p.m. this Sunday, May 13, 2018. Please remember to bring your ID. If you are under 18 at the time of the test a parent or guardian must be with you.
