Monmouth Beach Liquor Store Sells $50K Lottery Ticket

A Monmouth Beach convenience and liquor store sold a $50,000-winning lottery ticket from the drawing this past Saturday, Aug. 31.

MONMOUTH BEACH, NJ — A Monmouth Beach convenience and liquor store sold a $50,000-winning lottery ticket from the drawing this past Saturday, Aug. 31.

That ticket matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball drawn for the Saturday, Aug. 31 drawing winning the $50,000 third-tier prize. Two tickets won in that drawing statewide, from the following stores:

  • Bergen County: Super Shop Deli Mart, 809 Franklin Ave., Franklin Lakes; and
  • Monmouth County: Monmouth Beach Supermarket & Liquors, 73 Riverdale Ave., Monmouth Beach

The winning numbers for the Saturday, Aug. 31 drawing were: 14, 41, 50, 56 and 57. The Red Power Ball number was 18. The Multiplier number was 05.
