R-FH Board of Ed Candidates Revealed

Candidates for the and as well as the Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School boards of education have officially filed their petitions to run in what is now the November election.

The races in Fair Haven and for the Board of Education are uncontested, while four are competing in the Rumson race for three seats on the nine-member dais.

The Monmouth County Clerk has released the following information about the candidates in each race:

Fair Haven

There are two candidates running to fill the two Fair Haven seats up for grabs on the Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School Board of Education, making it an uncontested race. The candidates are:

•  Meaghan Finneran Ladd, 16 Buena Vista Ave., Fair Haven (incumbent)

•  Sarah Maris, 32 Hance Rd., Fair Haven (incumbent)

Three are running to fill three seats on the Fair Haven Board of Education, making that race also uncontested. They are:

• Mark Mancuso, 35 Beechwood Place, Fair Haven (incumbent)

• Tracy Rehder, 41 South Woodland Drive, Fair Haven

• Randi Walker, 70 Gentry Drive, Fair Haven

Running to fill an unexpired one-year term:

• Michael J. Bernstein, 699 River Rd., Fair Haven (incumbent)

Rumson

There is only one candidate running to fill the one open Rumson seat on the Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School Board of Education:

• James S. Wassel, 14 Hartshorne Lane, Rumson (incumbent)

There are four candidates vying to fill the three open seats on the Rumson Borough Board of Education. They are:

• John F. Connors, 21 Circle Drive, Rumson (incumbent)

• Alitia Faccone, 39 Lafayette St., Rumson (incumbent)

• Margaret Kaminski, 22 Hartshorne Lane, Rumson (incumbent)

• William Loughran, 69 Park Ave., Rumson

No one is running to fill the one, one-year unexpired term that needs to be filled on the board.
