Road Paving Project Starts Thursday In Rumson
Paving to begin at 8 a.m. on Washington Street, but any work not completed will continue July 5 to avoid disruption on the holiday weekend.
RUMSON, NJ—Certain streets in the borough will be paved on Thursday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., according to the borough website.
The work follows a water main project by New Jersey American Water, it said.
L&L Paving will pave the following streets, in this order:

- Washington Street
- Lafayette Street
- Allen Street
- 1st Street, excluding the north end
- 2nd Street
Any work that is not completed on June 30 will resume Tuesday, July 5 after the holiday weekend, the borough said.
