Road Work Updates In Fair Haven
This week, Willow Street paving continues; next week Monmouth County plans work on River Road.
FAIR HAVEN, NJ — Road construction projects are underway or coming up in the borough, so be prepared for detours and parking changes in town.
The borough has announced the following information regarding the projects:
Willow Street: from Fair Haven Road to Oak Place, is the site of projects taking place this week:

- Concrete curb and ADA ramps at Oak Place, Fair Haven Road, and across the street from Sickles School.
- Milling/paving Willow Street, the full width from Fair Haven Road to Oak Place.
- Pavement striping/signage with installation of parking stalls, no parking zones, and signage.
There will be no parking on Willow Street during the workday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Access to driveways may be limited during milling and paving operations.
The Fair Haven Board of Education will notify parents/teachers for those who participate in summer activities at Sickles School.

Two Fair Haven police officers are on-site during construction.
River Road: Monmouth County will begin a project on Aug.9, weather permitting.
The county anticipates milling/paving will be done over 3 nights, roughly from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.
There will be no parking on River Road during the paving.
