Welsh Farms In Highlands Sells $79,086 Lottery Ticket

HIGHLANDS, NJ — The Welsh Farms on Bay Avenue in Highlands sold a big-winning lottery ticket this week:

That ticket matched all five numbers drawn in the Tuesday, Sept. 10 drawing, the NJ state Lottery announced. Because a matching ticket was also sold at a Gulf Mart in South Plainfield, the winners will split the $158,172 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot. Each ticket is worth $79,086.

The winning numbers were: 20, 26, 37, 38 and 40 and the XTRA number was: 02.

Both retailers will receive a bonus check for $2,000 for each winning ticket sold. Those tickets were sold at the following locations:

• Middlesex County: Gulf Mart, 4480 Stelton Rd., South Plainfield; and
• Monmouth County: Welsh Farms, 300 Bay Ave., Highlands
