$50K Lottery Ticket Sold At Union County Beauty Supply Store

A Union County beauty supply store was among two places to sell in New Jersey to sell $50,000 winning lottery tickets.

PLAINFIELD, NJ — A Union County beauty supply store was among two places to sell in New Jersey to sell $50,000 winning lottery tickets.

Justin Beauty Supply of 249 East Front St. in Plainfield and Pine Hill Convenience Store of 249 Erial Rd. in Pine Hill each sold a New Jersey Powerball ticket that matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball drawn for the Wednesday drawing winning the $50,000 third-tier prize.

The Pine Hill ticket was purchased with Powerplay, multiplying the prize to $100,000.

The winning numbers for the Wednesday drawing were: 5, 12, 50, 61 and 69. The Red Power
Ball number was 23. The Multiplier number was 2.

In addition to the third-tier prizewinning tickets sold, there were 22,569 New Jersey players who took home an estimated 112,042 in prizes ranging from $4 to $200, according to Lottery Acting Executive Director James Carey.

The Powerball jackpot rolls to $130 million for the next drawing to be held Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
