6 Candidates To Run For Scotch Plains-Fanwood School Board

Six candidates will pursue three open seats on the Scotch Plains-Fanwood Regional School District Board of Education in November.

SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ — Monday was the deadline to file for the upcoming school board election in November and six candidates have announced their intention to run for the three open Scotch Plains-Fanwood Regional School Board seats.

There are three, three-year seats, and here are the candidates:

  • David Levine
  • Karen Kulikowski - incumbent
  • Tonya Y. Williams - incumbent
  • Debora Brody - incumbent
  • Michael R. Gromek - running under the slogan "Achievement, Community, Tradition"
  • Timothy J. Mehl, Jr - running under the slogan "For Our Kids"

The general election will occur on Nov. 2.
