SCOTCH PLAINS-FANWOOD HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS SELECTED FOR PRESTIGIOUS ALL-EASTERN HONORS MUSIC ENSEMBLES

The National Association for Music Education chooses only 350 choral students and 150 instrumental students for its All-Eastern Honors Ensembles from thousands of applicants throughout 11 northeastern and mid-Atlantic states, the District of Columbia and Europe.    Each high school junior or senior must have performed in his or her home all-state festival and must be recommended by the home state’s association president.  Four Scotch Plains-Fanwood students were selected to perform in the All-Eastern Honors Ensembles.

SPF High School seniors Charles Centinaro, tenor, Jessica Moore, mezzosoprano, and William Shore, tenor will sing in the Mixed Choir concert on Sunday, April 3, 3 p.m.  Senior Amanda Ho will play piccolo in the Orchestra concert, Sunday, April 3, 12:30 p.m.  Both concerts will take place in the Carl J. Murphy Performing Arts Center, Morgan State University, Baltimore Maryland.
