Childhood Memories Crushed As Bowcraft Demolished: Video
Watch this video showing what is left of the once beloved childhood amusement park Bowcraft on Route 22 in Scotch Plains.

SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ — It's the end of an era as the iconic beloved family amusement park, Bowcraft, is now gone forever.
Construction vehicles can be seen in a video tearing down what was left of the park last week that once held many childhood memories.
Bowcraft Amusement Park had been owned by the same family since 1995 and offered rides for young children and families.

The Scotch Plains Planning Board voted in September 2018 to allow ATA Developers to demolish the property to make way for 200 housing units of which 190 will be apartments and 10 will be townhouses. (See Related: Scotch Plains To Vote On Future Of Bowcraft Tonight)
