The College Club's Community Calendar is on sale now

The 63rd edition of the Fanwood-Scotch Plains Community Calendar for September, 2026 through September, 2027 is now available for purchase at local businesses. Locations include the Fanwood and Scotch Plains Libraries, Apple Blossom Flower Shop, Mountain Deli, Shear Magic Salon and the Fanwood-Scotch Plains Service League Thrift Shop in Scotch Plains and Norman’s Hallmark in Fanwood.

Sales of the Community Calendar are one of the major sources of scholarship funds for the Fanwood-Scotch Plains College Club. This year, the College Club awarded $36,000. to 13 young women from Fanwood and Scotch Plains. The current scholarship recipients are featured on the cover of the calendar.

This community service project was produced by calendar chairs Mari McDevitt and Barbara Cronenberger assisted by 29 members of the Club who worked through the summer on advertising, production and proofing of the calendar.

The calendar includes information for more than 70 clubs and organizations in Fanwood and Scotch Plains in addition to information for schools, houses of worship and the municipal governments. It also includes a 2028 calendar preview. This year our featured advertiser is Tom the Green Grocer of Scotch Plains who has been supporting us for 40 years.

Due to the generosity and support of local advertisers listed in the calendar, the $10. cost for each calendar sold will go directly into the College Club’s Scholarship Fund.
