On Saturday, March 30 at 2 pm, join community members for a discussion with Rutgers Professor Rachel Devlin, author of A Girl Stands at the Door: The Generation of Young Women who Desegregated America’s Schools. Professor Devlin’s groundbreaking research has uncovered the central role played by many incredibly courageous young women and girls. She brings their stories to life and “forces us to view a central strand of civil rights history in an entirely new way.” No registration is necessary for this program.
