The Library Boards of Trustees of Fanwood and Scotch Plains invite the public to hear the results of our Feasibility Study investigating the possibility of a Joint Library initiative. The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 7 at the , North Ave. & Tillotson Rd.
Funding for this study was received through a SHARE grant from the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs and allowed the two Boards to hire professional consultants to study existing library use and space as well as determining through focus group meetings the desired service needs for the future. Ample time for questions and comments is scheduled for the evening. The Trustees urge all local citizens to join them for an informative session on the role of libraries in sharing services.
