Goodbye Stranger Book Club for Teens at the Scotch Plains Public Library
Mark your calendars--Monday, May 2 and Monday, May 23 at 7 pm!

The Scotch Plains Public Library is very excited to announce the May YA book club series. The group will be reading Goodbye Stranger by Rebecca Stead. In Goodbye Stranger, readers explore the bonds and limits of friendship through the characters of Bridge, Emily, and Tabitha.
Bridge is an accident survivor who’s wondering why she’s still alive. Emily has new curves and an almost-boyfriend who wants a certain kind of picture. Tabitha sees through everybody’s games–or so she tells the world. The three girls are best friends with one rule: No fighting. Can it get them through seventh grade?
The group will be meeting on Monday, May 2 at 7 pm to pick up a copy of the book and read the first few chapters together. The group will meet again on Monday, May 23 at 7 pm to discuss the completed novel together. Snacks will be provided!
