NJ Native Andrew Lewis to Present “The Drowning of Money Island"

​On Thurs, Dec 12 at 7pm, Andrew Lewis will speak about how the state's Bayshore region has struggled to rebuild after Hurricane Sandy.

On Thursday, December 12 at 7 pm at the Scotch Plains Public Library, New Jersey native and journalist Andrew Lewis will speak about how the state’s Bayshore region has struggled to rebuild in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. His book, The Drowning of Money Island: A Forgotten Community’s Fight Against the Rising Seas Forever Changing Coastal America, focuses on chronicles the struggle of his New Jersey hometown to rebuild their ravaged homes in the face of the same environmental stresses and governmental neglect that are endangering coastal areas throughout the United States.
