Scotch Plains-Fanwood 2013 Primary Results
It was a low turnout for Tuesday's primary with only 8 percent of Scotch Plains voters and 9 percent of Fanwood voters casting their ballots.
Voters in Scotch Plains and Fanwood didn't face any contested municipal elections in today's primary, but residents did cast their votes for the nominated candidates for council seats.
The following candidates were on today's ballot and will face off in November:
Scotch Plains - race for one council seat.
- Incumbent Louis Beckerman (Regular Democratic Organization of Union County)
- Candidate Llewellyn Jones (Regular Organization Republican of Union County)

Fanwood - race for two council seats.
- Candidate Tom Kranz (Regular Democratic Organization of Union County)
- Incumbent Katherine Mitchell (Regular Democratic Organization of Union County)
- Candidate Jean Michelle Moore (Regular Organization Republican of Union County)
