The Instant Pot is here to stay! On Friday, July 12 at 10 am, get an overview of how to use the Instant Pot (or any of the modern pressure cookers.) As a demonstration, the librarians will make hands-off steel-cut oatmeal with just the touch of a button; samples will be shared! They will also showcase their growing collection of cookbooks that reveal how to use this fun method for different cuisines and diets. To register, go to https://www.surveymonkey.com/r....

Later in the month, on Friday, July 26 at 10 am, the second Foodie Friday will feature the making of a rosemary and walnut pesto and a “blank slate” white bean spread. To register, go to https://www.surveymonkey.com/r....

These programs are for adults and young adults entering grade 8 and up. Priority is given to Scotch Plains and Fanwood cardholders and registration is required.
