Scotch Plains Rescue Squad’s 2019 Annual Fund Drive is Underway

All-volunteer organization relies on community support

The Scotch Plains Rescue Squad has recently mailed a second round of fund drive letters, which emphasizes the importance of the services the organization provides. Scotch Plains residents have relied on this squad for emergency medical services for more than 82 years, and its volunteers respond to calls on a 24-hour basis, despite holidays and inclement weather.

The Scotch Plains Rescue Squad is committed to continuing this vital service to local residents. Only members of the squad organize the annual fund drive, which allows for the highest percentage of donations to be used for ambulances, up-to-date equipment, community outreach, and the training and outfitting of volunteers. The rescue squad also loans out wheelchairs, canes and crutches at no charge.

The Scotch Plains Rescue Squad relies on ongoing community support. These tax-deductible contributions enable the squad to fulfill its motto, Neighbors Helping Neighbors. We Work For Pride Not Pay. So please take the time to read the letter and make a donation to this worthy organization. If you have already done so, thank you for your generosity.
