The Fanwood-Scotch Plains Thrift Shop, 1741 E.2nd St., Scotch Plains, is well stocked for the Christmas season. The shop features many new, never used items for gift giving. There is an excellent selection of collectible items, with many Lenox pieces, dinnerware and fine jewelry available. Christmas bric-a-brac is well stocked. For the snowy, cold weather, clothing for men, women, children, from the tiniest to teens, will keep everyone in style, warm and dry. The shop has not forgotten Santa. New and gently used toys, games, puzzles and books are plentiful, and a very good value.

The shop welcomes customers to bring their smart phones and compare prices with any app they use. At this time of year, re-sellers are welcomed.

All items are first come, first serve. Items cannot be held. Payment is cash only. Volunteer staff appreciates small denominations. Fifty+ dollar bills may not be accepted.

Thrift Shop hours are Tuesday to Friday 10am to 2:30pm and Saturday 10am to 1pm.

The Fanwood-Scotch Plains Service League is an all-volunteer, non- profit organization that has served the local communities since 1974. Since its founding, the League has donated more than $1.3 million for local causes. Anyone interested in learning more about the League or membership is invited to call (908) 322-5420 visit the League's website at scotchplainsthriftshop.weebly.com or speak to any of the volunteers at the Thrift Shop. Checkout the organization's Facebook page, "Fanwood-Scotch Plains Service League," and give the League a "Like."

Parking is available on the street and in the rear of the building. Visitors may enter the parking lot via Wlllow Avenue.
