Video Shows Jeep Wanted In Hit-And-Run Of Fanwood Woman
The 35-year-old Fanwood woman remains in critical condition after a red 2014-2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee fled the scene in Linden: Police
LINDEN, NJ — Authorities have released a surveillance video of a Jeep wanted in connection with a hit-and-run that left a Fanwood pedestrian in critical condition early Sunday morning in Linden.
The vehicle has been identified as a red 2014-2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee, possibly with tinted windows and a sunroof. It may have front end damage, particularly to the lower grill area, Linden Police Lt. Christopher Guenther said.

The 35-year-old Fanwood woman was hit while crossing N. Wood Avenue in the area of St. George Avenue in Linden just before 2 a.m. on Jan. 20, Linden Police said.

Investigators believe that the vehicle was traveling south on Wood Avenue when it struck the woman as she crossed the street, police said.
The victim remains in critical condition at Newark University Hospital as of Wednesday, Jan. 23.
