SECAUCUS, NJ — There is a dramatic rescue underway in Laurel Hill Park Tuesday evening, when a young man climbed the cliffs at Snake Hill.
He appeared unable to get back down and Secaucus firefighters and police were at the base of the cliffs trying to get him down.
The rescue operation started shortly before 8 p.m. and he was still not rescued when this Patch reporter left the park at about 9 p.m.
Secaucus firefighters are using a ladder to get him down.
An eyewitness in the park said he appeared to have been rescued shortly after 9 p.m.
