Hudson Regional names new chief nursing officer for Secaucus hospital (njbiz.com) β Secaucus residents are getting a new chief nursing officer at Secaucus University Hospital, as Hudson Regional Health promotes longtime perioperative leader Corinne Lora following Felicia Karsos's retirement. Lora, honored as a NJBIZ Healthcare Hero, has worked at the Secaucus facility since 2018 and now steps into a key role as Hudson Regional invests heavily in its Hudson County hospitals.

NJ Transit Riders Hit With Another Round of Penn Station Delays (shorenewsnetwork.com) β Secaucus commuters face more headaches as NJ Transit warns that from Oct. 11 to Nov. 14, weekday trains will sometimes run on a single track between Newark and Secaucus, cutting capacity into Penn Station. After Monday's broken-rail delays, riders are being urged to expect cancellations, diversions to Hoboken, and to work from home or shift travel times if possible.
