Extra Mile Basketball NJ

Extra Mile Basketball NJ is an elite youth basketball training program based in Lyndhurst, NJ, serving athletes ages 7–18 across Bergen, Essex, and Hudson County. We specialize in small-group and private performance training led by Coach James, an internationally experienced basketball coach with 17 years of experience and over 2,000 athletes trained across three continents. Our program develops the complete player — ball handling, shooting, footwork, defense, basketball IQ, leadership, and mental toughness. We train athletes across three age groups: Grades 2–5 (Ages 7–10), Grades 6–8 (Ages 11–13), and Grades 9–12 (Ages 14–18). We offer flexible weekly training packages designed to accommodate different schedules and budgets — from a single drop-in session to a full monthly commitment. All skill levels are welcome, but athletes must come ready to work. Extra Mile Basketball is not for everyone. Our Summer Camp 2026 is now open for registration. Packages start at $85 for 1 day up to $375 for the full 5-day experience, with 2 hours of high-intensity performance training per session. SECAUCUS, NJ — A Dodge Ram 1500 that belongs to one of the businesses in Plaza Center was stolen Sunday night, and later recovered that same night by Secaucus Police in Jersey City. Patch will not be revealing the name of the business, as they are a victim of a crime. At 9:35 p.m. Sunday night, April 23, Secaucus Police responded to a 911 call from the parking lot at 89 Plaza Center that a man just drove off in a business pick-up truck that had been left running. Because the driver had left his cell phone, with GPS, in the car, Secaucus Police were able to track the stolen truck to Tonnelle Avenue in Jersey City. There, Mark Kimelman, 30, of Secaucus, was arrested by police and charged with motor vehicle theft and burglary. Kimelman was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody. Patch will update this story with more information as we receive it from police.
