Gunpoint Robbery At Aloft Hotel In Secaucus, Man Stabbed In Leg
There was an armed robbery at the Aloft hotel in Secaucus on Jan. 26, where a man nearly died in the lobby from stab wounds, say police.

SECAUCUS, NJ — There was an armed robbery at the Aloft hotel in Secaucus on Jan. 26, where a man nearly died from stab wounds in the lobby, say police.
On Feb. 4 and Feb. 8, Secaucus Police arrested two suspects, but a third still remains at large.
The robbery happened at 3:02 a.m. Jan. 26: Police say the victims met with a man identified as Nyshiem O. Inmon in their hotel room. A short time later, Lyemel Summerville and another man entered the hotel room while brandishing handguns.

Three of the victims were held against their will in the room's bathroom.
However, when one of the victims refused to go into the bathroom he was stabbed in his upper leg by Inmon, said police. When EMTs got there, they found the man who had been stabbed in the hotel lobby, bleeding heavily from an arterial bleed on his leg.

Secaucus Police Officer Dwight Wise immediately applied a tourniquet to the victim’s leg to control the bleeding, presumably saving his life. The victim was transported to the Jersey City Medical Center, where he was treated and released.
Despite an exhaustive search by the Secaucus Police dog Strobe and the Hudson County Sheriff’s police dog, Inmon and his accomplices fled the area with approximately $20,000 of the victims’ cash in a getaway vehicle that was waiting in the parking lot, driven by Russell Francis.
On February 4, Francis, 53 of Brooklyn, NY was arrested by Secaucus Police. He was charged with armed Robbery [2C:15-a(1)] and conspiracy to Commit Armed Robbery [2C:5-2a(1)/2C:15-1a(1)]. He was lodged in the Hudson County Jail.
On February 8, Summervile, 24, of Brooklyn, NY was arrested in the Bronx by the NYPD Brooklyn North Violent Felony Squad.
Summerville was charged with Criminal Attempt to Commit Murder (for stabbing the man in his leg, say police) [2C:5-1a(1)/2C:11-3a(1)], Armed Robbery [2C:15-1a(1)], Criminal Restraint [2C:13-2], Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose [2C:39-4(a)(1)], Unlawful Possession of a Weapon [2C:39-5(b)(1)],and Conspiracy to Commit Armed Robbery [2C:5-2a(1)/2C:15-1a(1)].
He was lodged on Rikers Island awaiting extradition to New Jersey.

I want to thank the members of the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit for their assistance. I also want to thank the NYPD Brooklyn North Violent Felony Squad, New York Probation and Parole who assisted in this investigation and arrests.”
An arrest warrant has been issued for Nyshiem O. Inmon, 24.
Inmon has ties to Jersey City, New York City and Maryland and Secaucus Police are asking the public’s help in locating him.
