Man Recorded Woman In Changing Room Of Secaucus Kohl's, Police Say

SECAUCUS, NJ — A man was taken into police custody last Thursday, Dec. 8 after police say he spied on a woman changing at the Secaucus Kohl's.

The incident happened Nov. 28 at the Secaucus Kohl's: The man used his cell phone to record a woman in the changing rooms at the store, say police.

Jesus Gallegos Valdez, 29, a Passaic resident, was taken into Secaucus Police custody on the afternoon of Dec. 8 in Paramus. He was charged with one count of invasion of privacy [2C:14-9B(2)].

Gallegos was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody. He is not an employee of the Secaucus Kohl's.

The arrest was made by the Secaucus Police Dept. Detective Division. Police Chief Dennis Miller said he could not disclose how police made the arrest.
