Man Sexually Gratified Himself Inside Secaucus Kohl's, Police Say

Last Thursday, Secaucus Police say this man was sexually gratifying himself inside the Secaucus Kohl's.

SECAUCUS, NJ — Last Thursday, March 2, Secaucus Police say this man pictured was sexually gratifying himself inside the Secaucus Kohl's.

Police were called to the store at 3:11 p.m. Thursday, for a 911 call from store employees that a man was walking around the store committing lewd acts.

"The man was gratifying himself in view of the public were he could be observed by children under the age of thirteen," said police. "After being approached by a loss-prevention officer, the man then left the store."

The Secaucus Police Detective division investigated and the man was identified as Christopher Honnold, 27, of Smithtown, NY.

Honnold surrendered himself to the Secaucus Police Monday.

He was charged with sexual assault [2C:14-2(b)] and criminal sexual contact [2C:14-3b] and was lodged in the Hudson County Jail.

“I commend my detective division for their swift work in identifying this man,” Chief Dennis Miller said. “While his actions are quite disturbing, he will be held accountable for his crimes."
