A New York City man attempting to drop off an injured dog became irate and threatened shelter volunteers Sunday, said police:

SECAUCUS, NJ — On Sunday, a New York City man attempting to drop off an injured dog became irate in the parking lot of the Secaucus Animal Shelter, and threatened volunteers there with a gun, said Secaucus Police.
The man arrived at the town animal shelter on Meadowlands Parkway at 3:49 p.m. Sunday, said police. He tried to drop off a dog that had a broken leg, said a shelter spokesperson.
When shelter volunteers asked the man to give the name of the street where he found the dog, he became irate and refused to answer. He immediately started cursing at them. He threatened to punch one of the volunteers and told them he had a gun in his car, she said.
