More Info. On Secaucus Krauszer's Burglary Aug. 3

SECAUCUS, NJ — Here is more information about the break-in and burglary that happened Aug. 3 at the Secaucus Krauszer's, as first reported in the most recent Aug. 7 - Aug. 13 police blotter.

A man broke into the Krauszer's on Meadowlands Parkway at 3:45 a.m. Aug. 3, said Krauszer's store management.

The store was closed at the time, but he got in by smashing the front glass door, which the store quickly replaced.

He removed an estimated $3,000-$4,000 from the cash register and fled. The man was captured on the store's security cameras, and the video was shared with Secaucus Police.

Secaucus Police linked the suspect to a man in Paterson. On Aug. 8, Damian Robinson, 52, of Paterson was charged by Secaucus Police with burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary and theft. He was taken into custody in South Hackensack. Robinson was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.
