• NJIB's Guide to 90+ New Jersey September Festivals and Events (newjerseyisntboring.com) — Secaucus will host the Meadowlands Tattoo Arts Festival at the Meadowlands Exposition Center September 4–6, bringing tattoo artists, performers, and vendors for a three-day, family-friendly event. Tickets are available by day or as a weekend pass, with kids under 12 free. The broader guide also highlights dozens of other September festivals across New Jersey if you're up for exploring beyond town. 
• Anti-corruption candidate now faces corruption charges in NJ (wpst.com) — A former Hudson County official was recently arrested at the prosecutor's office in Secaucus on charges that he diverted more than $250,000 in county funds for personal use. Prosecutors say the alleged thefts occurred between 2024 and early 2026, after which the official was suspended and later fired. He previously ran unsuccessfully for the state Assembly on an anti-corruption platform.
