Prostitution Arrests At Royal Motel In Secaucus: Police Blotter

Three people were arrested on prostitution charges Sunday night at the Royal Motel, and more from the latest Secaucus police blotter:

SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus police, all of last week's arrests:

On Jan. 27 at 3:09 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus police arrested a 41-year-old male, of Yonkers, NY for one outstanding NCIC warrant issued by the Bergen County Superior Court with no bail along with one outstanding warrant issued out of South Bound Brook, NJ in the amount of $600. He was issued two motor vehicle summonses and was subsequently transported to the Bergen County Jail. Unknown what warrants were for.

On Jan. 27 at 7:23 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus police arrested a 26-year-old female of Jersey City, NJ for one outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $2,500 with a 10 percent option along with one outstanding warrant issued out of Bayhead Boro, NJ in the amount of $350 with a 10% option. She was able to post bail for the involved warrants, was issued three motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On Jan. 27 at 9:39 a.m., Secaucus police observed a suspicious male in the area of Paterson Plank Road and County Avenue. During the investigation, the police arrested a 37-year-old male of Secaucus, NJ for one outstanding warrant issued out of Hamilton Township, NJ in the amount of $858. Hamilton police released him on his own recognizance pending a future court date and he was released from police custody.

On Jan. 28 at 9:32 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus police arrested a 51-year-old male of East Orange, NJ for a warrant issued by the Secaucus Police Department for Operating a Motor Vehicle during a period of License Suspension for Driving While Intoxicated [2C:40-26B] with no bail. He was served his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On Jan. 28 at 12:28 p.m., Secaucus police responded to the Roadway Inn located at 155 Rt. 3 East on a report of a disorderly male. During the investigation, the police arrested a 44-year-old male of New York, NY for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. He was served his complaint summons and he was released from police custody.

On Jan. 28 at 5:02 p.m., Secaucus police responded to the Bergen County Jail to take into custody a 29-year-old male of Secaucus for one outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus in the amount of $200. He was also found to have one outstanding warrant issued out of Newark in the amount of $3,500. The Newark Police Department released him on his own recognizance. He was unable to post bail for the warrant issued out of Secaucus and he was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On Jan. 30 at 9:32 a.m., Secaucus police responded to the East Orange Police Department to take into custody a 28-year-old male of East Orange for one outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus in the amount of $200. He was able to post bail for the involved warrant and he was released from police custody.

On Jan. 31 at 8:25 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 39-year-old male of Newark for one outstanding warrant issued out of Maywood Boro, NJ in the amount of $500. He was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued two motor vehicle summonses and he was released from police custody.

On Jan. 31 at 11:46 a.m. Secaucus police responded to the Hudson County Superior Court to take into custody a 39-year-old female of Jersey City for one outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus in the amount of $2,500. She was unable to post bail and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On Feb. 1 at 9:34 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus police arrested a 29-year-old male of Jersey City for one outstanding warrant issued out of Hoboken in the amount of $250. He was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued four motor vehicle summonses and he was released from police custody.

On Feb. 2 at 8:07 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus police arrested a 24-year-old male of Paterson, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijauna [2C:35-10A(4)] (a disorderly persons offense) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. He was served his complaint summons, was issued three motor vehicle summonses and he was released from police custody.

On Feb. 2 at 3:41 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus police arrested a 53-year-old male of Jersey City for one outstanding warrant issued out of East Windsor in the amount of $630. He was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued two motor vehicle summonses and he was released from police custody.

On Feb. 2 at 8:47 p.m., Secaucus police responded to the Royal Motel located at 650 Rt. 3 West on a report of a dispute involving an assault with a possible weapon. During the investigation, the police arrested a 29-year-old male, Alvin Sears of New York, NY along with a 38-year-old female, Aviona Lambert of New York, NY for Promoting Prostitution [2C:34-1B(2)]. The police also arrested a 69-year-old male, Isaac Follman of Brooklyn, NY for Engaging in Prostitution [2C:34-1B(1)]. Sears was found to have one outstanding warrant issued out of Newark in the amount of $100. Follman was found to have one outstanding warrant issued out of Carlstadt in the amount of $114. The Carlstadt Police Department did release Follman on his own recognizance. Sears was able to post bail for the warrant issued out of Newark. Mr. Sears, Ms. Lambert and Mr. Follman were issued their complaint summonses and all parties were released from police custody.
