During the week of Nov. 14, undercover Secaucus police officers were inside AJ’s Go-Go Bar investigating these new complaints.
The undercover police officers were offered sexual favors in exchange for money, say police.

This comes after last December, Secaucus Police wrapped up a six-month-long undercover investigation at AJ's go-go bar, alleging a wide range of drugs were sold at the business, including cocaine and pills, and prostitution occurred on site. On Dec. 14, 2021, nine people, men and women, were arrested at AJ's for charges ranging from promoting prostitution to distribution of cocaine.
“The Secaucus Police Department will continue to investigate every complaint from our citizenry,” Secaucus Police Chief Dennis Miller said Thursday. “I commend the efforts of our investigative personnel for their continued hard work."
He also called on the state Alcohol Beverage Control Board to investigate AJ's, as liquor licenses can be revoked by the state if prostitution and drug sales occur at places where alcohol is sold.
"I am hopeful that our criminal justice system and State Alcohol Beverage Control Board will hold those responsible for allowing this criminal activity to continue," said Chief Miller.
