Secaucus High School Boys Cross Country Team recieve championship awards

On Tuesday evening, March 24, 2026, the Secaucus High School cross country team recieved their championship plaques and jackets from Head Coach Stan Fryczynski. The awards presentation was also highlighted with some pizza, beverages, and much praise by the coach to his Patriots about the success of the 2025 squad.

Coach Fryczynski highlighted the season and thanked them all for their hard work since mid-July, the long miles logged, and the week in and week out outstanding performances during the season.

"It is quite an accomplishment for a team to be able to go to competitions each weekend and come homewith team medals. It was truly a special season," commented Fryczynski

The 2025 season accomplichments:

* 24-7 won/lost record over their 4 years. An undefeated 8-0 in 2025

*3rd place CHSAA at Van Cortlandt Park

*3rd place Back to the Mountain Invitational

*Fordham Prep Invitational Champions

*NJIC Divisional Meet Champions

*2nd place North Hudson Championship

*2nd Place Fall Classic @ Jamesburg Park

*3rd Hudson County Championships

*3rd State Sectionals

Additionally, Fryczynski praised the 5 members of the team for being selected to the All-County team. The team was also ranked in the North Jersey top 25 for the enntire season.
