Secaucus Police Anti-Crime Unit Make New Arrest At Red Roof Inn
SPD's anti-crime unit/vice squad was formed specifically in response to resident complaints about drugs and prostitution at town motels.
SECAUCUS, NJ — Secaucus police arrested this man Wednesday night at the Red Roof Inn motel, after they said they found him with a large knife and more than an ounce of suspected methamphetamine.
The arrest was done by the department's anti-crime unit, which was formed specifically in response to resident complaints about drug crimes and prostitution at Secaucus motels.
“As chief of police, I am committed to listening to citizen complaints and having them proactively investigated," said police Chief Dennis Miller. "Transient patrons who come to some of our local hotels to commit nefarious acts will continue to be targeted.”

On Wednesday night, Secaucus police were at the Red Roof following up on complaints of narcotics activity. At 10:45 p.m., detectives said they observed Frank Morrow acting suspiciously.
It was discovered he was in possession of a large knife and the methamphetamine.

Morrow, 47, of Queens, NY was charged with Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance [2C:35-10a(1)] and Possession with the Intent to Distribute a Controlled Dangerous Substance [2C:35-5b(9)(a)]. He was taken to the Hudson County Jail.
