SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus Police, all of last week's arrests:
On April 18 at 11 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Essex County Jail to take into custody a 28-year-old male, Cheon Julien of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $500. The warrant was issued in relation to a theft incident that occurred at UPS located at 493 County Avenue on 09/27/2019. Julien was unable to post bail for the involved warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On April 20 at 1:07 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 24-year-old male of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of East Orange, NJ in the amount of $750 with a 10% option. He was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from police custody.

On April 23 at 11:30 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to Sam’s Club located at 300 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a fight between two individuals. During the investigation, the police arrested a 51-year-old male, Carlos Mieles of Jersey City, NJ for Simple Assault [2C:12-1A]. Mieles was served his complaint summons and was released from police custody.
On April 23 at 4:12 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Home Depot located at 1055 Paterson Plank Road on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 53-year-old male of South Hackensack, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Hackensack, NJ in the amount of $3,500. He was unable to post bail for the involved warrant. Officers from the Hackensack Police Department responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters and took custody of him for transport back to their authority.
These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
