SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus Police, all of last week's arrests:

On Dec. 20 at 12:43 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 19-year-old male, Brian Martinez-Tejeda of the Bronx, NY for Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, a knife [2C:39-5D]. Martinez-Tejeda was issued his complaint summons along with seven motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On Dec. 21 at 12:29 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 27-year-old female of New York, NY for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Newton, NJ in the amount of $1,000 with a 10% option. She was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On Dec. 21 at 4:23 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 31-year-old male of East Orange, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Ringwood, NJ in the amount of $1,500.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of New Brunswick, NJ in the amount of $750.00. The police also arrested a 26-year-old male of Brooklyn, NY for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $200.00. Ringwood along with the New Brunswick released the first on his own recognizance pending future court dates. Newark PD also released the second on his own recognizance pending a future court date and he was released from custody. The first was issued 4 motor vehicle summonses and he was released from police custody.

On Dec. 22 at 7:29 p.m., in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Department in regards to a motor vehicle crash that occurred on the same date at 3:03 p.m. in the area of Rt. 3 east, the police arrested Tyhid Shannon, a 24-year-old male of Jersey City, NJ for Exhibiting a False Insurance Card [2C:21-2.3(b)] at Secaucus Police headquarters. He was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of East Orange, NJ in the amount of $1,000. East Orange did release him on his own recognizance pending a future court date. He was issued his complaint summons along with 1 motor vehicle summons and was released from police custody.

On Dec. 22 at 10:59 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 42-year-old female of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Irvington, NJ in the amount of $450. The Irvington Police Department did release her on her own recognizance pending a future court date and she was released from police custody.

On Dec. 23 at 1:53 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 24-year-old female of East Orange, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of East Orange, NJ in the amount of $500. She was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from police custody.

On Dec. 24 at 2:26 a.m., a motor vehicle struck the Secaucus Municipal Building located at 1203 Paterson Plank Road. During the investigation, the police arrested a 30-year-old male, Hugo Brito of Jersey City, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50] and Exhibiting a False Government Document [2C:21-2.1C]. Brito was served his complaint summons along with his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated and an additional 4 motor vehicle summonses and he was released into the custody of a responsible adult.
