SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus police and unedited by Patch, all of last week's arrests:

On Dec. 7 at 3:13 a.m., Secaucus Police observed a suspicious vehicle in the area of 1313 Paterson Plank Road. A motor vehicle stop of the vehicle was conducted. During the investigation, the police arrested a 27 year old male, Tamir Brown of Jersey City, NJ along with a 24 year old male, Deon Davis of Jersey City, NJ, a 25 year old male, Mohummad Simmons of Jersey City, NJ and a 19 year old male, Rico Phang of Jersey City, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be cough syrup with Codeine [2C:35-10A(1)], Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)], Possession with intent to Distribute CDS believed to be cough syrup with Codeine [2C:35-5B(13)], Possession of CDS believed to be Promethazine with Codeine [2C:35-10A(2)], Possession with intent to Distribute CDS believed to be Promethazine with Codeine [2c:35-5B(14)] and Possession with intent to Distribute CDS believed to be cough syrup with Codeine and Promethazine with Codeine within 500 feet of a Public Park [2C:35-7.1A]. Mr. Brown, along with Mr. Davis, Mr. Simmons and Mr. Phang were served their complaint warrants. Mr. Davis was also served eight motor vehicle summonses and all four individuals were subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On Dec. 8 at 1:17 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 22 year old male, Victor Belaunde of Clifton, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Mr. Belaunde was issued his complaint summons along with two motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On Dec. 8 at 1:23 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office for the purpose of taking into custody a 26 year old male, Quande Butler of the Bronx, NY for one outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $1,000. Mr. Butler was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from police custody.

On Dec. 8 at 5:59 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 27 year old male, Akil Duncan of Jersey City, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)]. Mr. Duncan was served his complaint summons along with three motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On Dec. 8 at 9:36 p.m., Secaucus Police were advised of a shoplifting that had just occurred at CVS located at 101 Plaza Centre Road. During the investigation, the police arrested a 37 year old female, Tiffany Malone of Jersey City, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)], Obstructing the Administration of Law [2C:29-1A], Resisting Arrest [2C:29-2A(3)(A)], Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)], Conspiracy [2C:5-2A(1)] and Receiving Stolen Property [2C:20-7A]. Ms. Malone was served her complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On Dec. 9 at 4:54 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 38 year old male, Raheem King of Jersey City, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. While in custody Mr. King repeatedly coughed on officers while stating that he was COVID positive. He was further charged with Aggravated Assault on a Police Officer [2C:12-1b(5)(a)], Throwing Bodily Fluids [2C:12-13], Terroristic Threats [2C:12-3a] and Committing an Unlawful Act During a State of Emergency [A:9-49A]. Mr. King was served his motor vehicle summonses for Driving While Intoxicated along with an additional eight motor vehicle summonses and was released into the custody of a responsible adult.

On Dec. 9 at 9:36 p.m., Secaucus Police arrested a 39 year old female, Alice Pickett of Jersey City, NJ for one outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office with no bail after Ms. Pickett entered Secaucus Police Headquarters in relation to a shoplifting incident that occurred at CVS located at 101 Plaza Centre Road on Dec. 8. Officers from the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters to take custody of Ms. Pickett for transport back to their agency.

On Dec. 9 at 7:50 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 31-year-old male, John J. Flanagan of 7th Street in Secaucus, NJ for Distribution CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-5B(12)] and Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)]. Mr. Flanagan was served his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On Dec. 9 at 11:18 p.m., Secaucus Police observed a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of the Red Roof Inn located at 15 Meadowlands Parkway. During the investigation, the police arrested a 21 year old male, Cameron Cox of Indianapolis, IN for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)]. Mr. Cox was served his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On Dec. 9 at 11:37 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the parking lot outside Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a dispute. During the investigation, the police arrested a 33 year old male, Jose Matos of Jersey City, NJ for three outstanding warrants issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $700. Mr. Matos was able to post bail for the involved warrants and he was released from police custody.

On Dec. 11 at 12:59 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 34 year old male, Jamar Ikner of Jersey City, NJ for one outstanding warrant issued out of Rochelle Park, NJ in the amount of $1,200 along with 8 outstanding warrants issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $9,650. Mr. Ikner on his own recognizance pending a future court date from Rochelle Park. Mr. Ikner was unable to post bail for the involved warrants issued out of Jersey City, NJ. Mr. Ikner was issued two motor vehicle summonses. Officers from the Jersey City Police Department responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters and took custody of Mr. Ikner for transport back to their agency.

On Dec. 11 at 12:59 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 57 year old male, Miguel Silva of West New York, NJ for one outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $500.00 with a 10% option. Mr. Silva was released on his own recognizance pending a future court date. Mr. Silva was issued 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On Dec. 11 at 4:40 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 21 year old female, Kyanna Burroughs of Montclair, NJ for one outstanding warrant issued out of Flemington, NJ in the amount of $500 along with one outstanding warrant issued out of Ewing, NJ in the amount of $150. Ms. Burroughs was able to post bail for both involved warrants, was issued 3 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.
