Secaucus Police Blotter, June 22 - June 28
Released by Secaucus police, all of last week's arrests: A man was charged with trying to sell marijuana and cocaine in town.

SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus police and unedited by Patch, all of last week's arrests:
On June 22 at 10:05 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus police arrested a 33-year-old male, Wilzer Thalerand of West Orange, NJ for one outstanding warrant issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $550. Newark police did release Mr. Thalerand on his own recognizance pending a future court date. Mr. Thalerand was issued one motor vehicle summons and was released from police custody.
On June 22 at 12:26 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus police arrested a 33-year-old male, Jeffrey Bergo of Secaucus, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Bergo was also found to have one outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $500. Mr. Bergo was issued his complaint warrant along with three motor vehicle summonses and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On June 23 at 11:58 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus police arrested a 31-year-old male, Philipguy Perez of Secaucus, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Mr. Perez was issued his complaint summons along with 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.
On June 23 at 7:15 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus police arrested a 33-year-old male, Alfonso Bowen of Union City, NJ for Possession with Intent to Distribute CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-5B(12)], Possession with Intent to Distribute CDS believed to be Marijuana within 500 feet of a Public Housing Facility [2C:35-7.1A], Possession with Intent to Distribute CDS believed to be Cocaine within 500 feet of a Public Housing Facility [2C:35-7.1A], Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine within 500 feet of a Public Park [2C:35-7.1A], Possession with Intent to Distribute CDS believed to be Marijuana within 500 feet of a Public Park [2C:35-7.1A], Tampering with Physical Evidence [2C:28-6(1)], Possession with Intent to Distribute CDS believed to be Cocaine [2C:35-5B(2)], Unlawful Possession of a Weapon [2C:39-5D], Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)], Possession of CDS believed to be Cocaine [2C:35-10A(1)], Resisting Arrest [2C:29-2A(2)] and Possession with intent to Distribute Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-3]. Mr. Bowen was also found to have one outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ with no bail and one outstanding warrant issued out of Hoboken, NJ with no bail. Mr. Bowen was served his complaint warrant along with five motor vehicle summonses and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On June 24 at 1:39 a.m., Secaucus police responded to the Extended Stay America located at 1 Meadowlands Parkway on a report of a suspicious incident involving a parked motor vehicle. During the investigation, the police arrested a 26-year-old male, Dionte Lassiter of the Bronx, NY for Burglary [2C:18-2A(1)] and Criminal Attempt of Theft [2C:5-1A(1)]. Mr. Lassiter was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.
On June 24 at 2:18 p.m., Secaucus police responded to the Home Depot located at 1055 Paterson Plank Road on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 21-year-old male, Luis Carrasco of Newark, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)], Conspiracy [2C:5-2A(1)] and Employing a Juvenile to Commit a Criminal Offense [2C:24-9A]. The police also arrested a 15-year-old juvenile female of Newark, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)] and Conspiracy [2C:5-2A(1)]. Mr. Carrasco was served his complaint summons and was released from police custody. The juvenile was served her juvenile complaint summons and was released into the custody of her parent.
On June 24 at 9:38 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus police arrested a 25-year-old male, Skander Kouskoussi of Lodi, NJ for one outstanding warrant issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $150. Mr. Kouskoussi was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued three motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.
On June 25 at 1:49 p.m., Secaucus police arrested a 61-year-old male, Howard Russell of Union, NJ for one outstanding warrant issued out of Weehawken, NJ with no bail along with one outstanding warrant issued out of East Brunswick, NJ in the amount of $2,500. Mr. Russell was subsequently transported to the Weehawken Police Department.
On June 26 at 10:06 a.m., Secaucus police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 45-year-old male, Juan Fernandez of Fontana, CA for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)] and Robbery [2C:15-1A(1)]. Mr. Fernandez was served his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On June 27 at 12:16 p.m., Secaucus police responded to the 200 block of Franklin Street on a report of a motor vehicle accident. During the investigation, the police arrested a 30-year-old male, Charles Forrest of Lorraine, OH for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Mr. Forrest was also found to have one outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of Texas for full extradition with no bail. Due to this warrant, Mr. Forrest was additionally charged with Being a Fugitive from Justice [2A:16010]. Mr. Forrest was served his complaint warrants and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On June 27 at 11:49 p.m., New Jersey State Police responded to Secaucus police headquarters to transfer custody of a 25-year-old female, Antinelle Alexander-Jackson of East Orange, NJ for one outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $1,000. Ms. Alexander-Jackson was unable to post bail and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On June 28 at 8:54 p.m., Secaucus police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 38-year-old female, Jessica Matos of the Bronx, NY for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(3)]. Ms. Matos was served her complaint summons and was released from police custody.
These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
